3D Renders (new)

Country House

I wanted to achieve a more realistic render that would stand out from my other realtime models. I had always liked the cozy and natural look of country typed houses, so with a bit of quick reference from the net, I created an interior model and used Vray plugin for the materials, lighting, and rendering. Most textures are taken from the internet and edited in Photoshop. Models are mostly done by myself in 3D Studio Max.

Of the 2 rendered images, one is a day render and the other a night render.

I hope to do many more realistic renders with Vray with other scenes very soon.

3D Interactive Models (Cityscape)

This section contains 3d models of specific parts of Singapore cityscape. Exact model location and client name are omitted to adhere to the confidential nature of the project.
My role was to manage a team of modellers which involve modelling of buildings, street furniture and terrain elevation, LOD(level of detail) creation and asset management.

3D Interactive Models (Exterior)

*Images posted in this site are scaled down and not at full resolution.

All the models in this section are exterior models without interior details.

All models are meant for realtime output for visualization. Only diffuse and opacity maps are used. NO bump, displacement and reflection maps are used due to engine's limitations.

3D Interactive Models (Interior)

*Images posted in this site are scaled down and not at full resolution.

All the models in this section were first created with Revit by my colleague. My job was to import the raw building structure into 3D Studio Max for further geometrical refinements and detailing, create all the furniture/props and add textures onto the entire model.

Changi General Hospital

This model was created for a wayfinder application for the hospital interactive 3D information kiosk.
A brief demo can be viewed here: http://blog.conveno.com/2011/01/conveno-kiosks-launched-for-changi.html

Singtel Showroom

An interior showroom model done for Singtel. Their aim was to have a accurate and light model which would be able to run on their kiosks onsite. The raw interior layout was built in Revit. My role was to refine the interior layout further, create and map textures onto the walls, floors and doors. Textures were taken and prepared from actual photographs of the place. Most of the props and furniture were also done by me, mostly from scratch.

Food Centre

Due to the confidential nature of this project, I am unable to state the exact name of this food centre model. This model includes interiors and was created for realtime data analysis of the food stalls. Due to the complexity of the place, model geometries were optimized

To ensure optimal performance on mainstream platforms, flat textures were used to represent stall facades instead of actual geometries.

3D Renders (High Quality)

*Images posted in this site are scaled down and not at full resolution.

Series of Tubes

An original still render I created for a card game company Tenacious Games back in 2006. This render was used as a special card as it was the only card to adopt a 3D visual style.

House of Clerics

An original fantasy piece of an ancient castle hall of the clerics, whom magical prowess resides in the use of magical orbs.

Blue House

An original fantasy piece of a house where dwells a female pixie which will never grow old. All textures are created by myself, except for the images used in the small photo frames which can be seen in the background.

 Cellbreak

An original fantasy piece about a dungeon of cells with no way out. Only those who can see the sacred light will find their way out.

Safety- A Timeless Trend

A original poster created for the army safety poster competition. This poster won the 2nd prize. The hour glass and background were done in 3d max, which was rendered and composited with the words in Photoshop.

3D Models For Card Game Illustrations

* Images in this section are scaled down and not at original resolution

This section contains 3D environment models I did which were used as a line guide for 2D artists to achieve precise perspective in their drawings. As shown, the models have a lot of polygons to provide the artists with adequate details for their drawings. All the drawings were used as illustrations for playing cards called The Spoils, created by Tenacious Games Asia back in 2006.

In the images that follow, the black and white images are the raw 3D models done by me, while the colored images are the finished product done by the 2D artists.

A siege machine I conceptualized and modelled to be used in the card shown below.
